It’s hard not to smile when you’re tooling around in an inflatable kayak. We’d love to be your Glenwood Springs kayak rental choice.
Defiance uses the Star Legend series for both its rental and commercial fleets. And for good reason. They are incredibly stable and forgiving without sacrificing the fun factor. Use it for an extended day on the Roaring Fork or Upper Colorado, or bomb down Glenwood Canyon on the Lower Colorado into Glenwood Springs for a quick balance of whitewater and scenic float. All Colorado kayak rentals come with a paddle, helmet, and PFD.
- Duration: 9 am – 6 pm, same day
- Price: Single- $55, Double- $85, $50/hr past 6 pm
- Cooler with Ice: $15
- Boxed Lunch (aka snackle box): $25
- Hand Pump: $10
- Experience recommended for river use, beginner-friendly for lake use
- Rentals are NOT ALLOWED on the Class III-IV Shoshone Rapids

The price also includes an optional local drop off @ Grizzly Creek Put-In on the Colorado River in Glenwood Canyon with the takeout conveniently located at our rental HQ in West Glenwood Springs. Put-ins and take-outs outside of the included option require setting up your own shuttle. Local taxis and shuttle services are available.
